Mocking Up a New Fir Ladder

This week in the workshop…

We’re mocking up a fir loft ladder to make sure that the dimensions are going to work for the space. Our process always starts with measurements and specifications from our clients. We then get to work building a mockup of the ladder to see what those dimensions look like in real life. Sometimes, measurements don’t reflect exactly how a ladder will look and fit into a space. Mocking up is a critical part of the process so that we get all the details right before we send a ladder out to its new home.
